hey kids
ok so it seems that we werent all easy on the big msn chat. but monday night is fine, its probably better for me as well. has anyone heard from trey? or will it just be us four so far (matt, alex, SXS, and myself)

SXS - dont be ashamed Hell’s kitchen is the best! im not sure which season your watching but the finale was on in Aus the other night. it was awesome. so monday night is good for you? 6pm EDT, are you ok with the time conversion? i only ask cos i dont know which zone you live in….

ok so i may have watched the new trialers over n over n over again. they are the best! i cant wait for the new and final eps of this season. the finale is going to be insane. i dont want to voer sell it but i can forsee it as being the best finale in all history to any cartoon show. YAY!

Andies, I can’t chat on Tuesday… I have a trip rehearsal from 5:30-9:30 (my time), and I’m watching the Hell’s Kitchen finale at 10 (yes, I am a nerd..-_-). What about Monday? And yeah, the trailers are great! If you haven’t yet, go to the nick website, and go to the 4th volume dvd page. Lots of spoilers! Oh, and for the love of god, DO NOT INVITE THE 316-ERS! Sorry, but geez.. I would rip my hair out after talking to them! Gah!

ok seeing as how everyone seems to be ‘easy’ on when the chat happens ill set a date. how is tuesday night? by my calculations thats the 8/7/2008, or by american its 7/8/2008, i think, the point being its the 8th of july. at 6pm EDT. is that good for everyone? if your confused about the time difference just tell me where your from and ill calculate it.
question; should we include people from the 316 board? i dont go there so i dont know how lame/good it is, but the more the merrier right? matt your the only one i know that goes there (however infrequently) so im sure there would be some decent people there. ill post there and find out if people are interested

Omg i just watched the newest trailer, katara is the bomb at water bending, i love her so much. also great to see more ‘zutara’, and by that i mean that again you can see zuko and katara standing close together, the creators and produces may just be teasing us, but stil, im being optimistic

Andies101- I’m going to answer both of your questions about the hybrid for the wolf waterbender. Unfortunately, I don’t think a polar bear would work for that. They’re too big and bulky, which waterbending definitely isn’t.

Actually, I just remembered something! Once, on deviantArt, I found a picture that someone drew for someone else’s Avatar fanfiction. That fanfiction was apparently about the next Avatar- a waterbender. Their spiritual guide animal was very interesting… a spider-mammoth. That might sound weird, but the animal looked cool. It was very light (it might have been white) and it had several, beady black eyes like a spider. It had six legs (like Appa’s) and a long trunk and tusks. If I can find it, I’ll post a link on here… Oh, and I’m good for any time for a big MSN chat.

Andies, I think it’s just a habit for me to say weekend. But, yes, we could probably work something out for a weekday. And I think at some point I thought of a polar bear/wolf. That would work quite nicely.

anyway, hi, I’ve got school again so I dun hv much time for Avatar, tho ther are some avatards in my class..so yay for that.
I’m exited for the AtlA finale, after months of waiting, its almost here..tho I’m sad its going to end.. r ther any official statements about book 4?

SXS - yeah the big week is practically days away (in comparison to how long we’ve actually waiting) but the site has a set date! so be optimistic! besides im going away for a few days during that big week so its ganna suck. you guys will see the epps long before i will.
Also with the water bending avatar, i thought about this a great deal, and the best i could come up with would be a wolf/bear hybred. the wolf component would have speed over land, whilst the bear (in particular a polar bear) would have awesome bending abilities and be speedy over water. its the best that i can come up with. clearly not as mobile as a dragon, but as pointed out by zuko, appa isnt all that fast either.
oh and the buig msn weekend? does it have to be a weekend? most of us are on holidays by now and we should definately be able to organise at least a few hours where we are all free. im easy, i dont have any plans in the next 10 or so days. when is good for you?

Matt, wow. That Ty Lee comment was slightly…unexpected. I really need another girl to talk to.. -_-; And since in the avatarverse, it is rare to have a ‘regular’ animal, the wolf would probably be crossbred with something. Maybe with this alteration, it would be able to bend better? Thoughts?

just saw a trailer of the coming eps.. katara’s gonna do her suring again and firelord ozai looks all mad and too good for anyone.. but bumi.. even though he didnt do anything in the trailer, ive got high hopes for him esp. if he does a tag team with toph. imagine the possibilities with bumi creating large hands out of earth coming out of te ground, toph making a whirlpool out of land n her metal bending

btw wouldnt it be mad if the benders could make bigger embodimens of their bending? like zuko bending a flaming dragon, or as mentioned earlie with the earth hands, sorta like sandman from spiderman 3.. katara could probably do something like the rives turing into a water animal, like in lord of the rings 1 when that chick makes the river run in the shape of horses

Interesting stuff, here…
Sokkaxsuki- I loved that bit about wolves howling to the moon. There’s no doubt that the Water Tribes are very wolf-oriented… but we haven’t yet seen one of them in the show, alive anyway. Andies, you mentioned that wolves aren’t very dextrous and would not make good waterbenders. Well, how about this? Remember the baby Saber-tooth moose-lion? It earthbended without moving at all. I think a waterbending wolf would be cool… As a matter of fact, I had a wolf spiritual companion for my waterbender Avatar story that’s still in the planning stages… but the story itself won’t come out for a while ^^

Best nonbending- Ty Lee in general. Mai, Suki, and Ty Lee in The Boiling Rock (Part 2), and also Sokka in some scenes.

the site has set a date for the airing of 316? what do you guys think the chances are of them being right? i mean they gnerally just say ‘coming soon’ or ‘here this friday’ so maybe they know something we dont?
im trying to be very optimistic here, i mean we saw TBR 1 + 2 before they aired anywhere, so maybe they have an advanced screening somewhere?

Zuko_808 in the “Avatar returns”, Iroh (along with Zuko) shot fire at the gaang in the air inorder to “shoot them down”. Aang airbended the fire into the side of an ice mountain, which left Zuko’s ship buried.
